Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my kids? How many people can fit in a tent?
Each tent is already set up with 1 x queen bed with the view to having couples stay. You can add up to two single beds (a single camp mattress on top of camp cot) for an extra $25 per bed. Adding two single beds means there is less room inside the tent, but they do fit! If you want to bring your baby, you will need to supply your own portacot. There is no extra charge for bringing a baby with your own cot.
Are pets allowed?
No, there are no pets allowed in National Parks.
What is the toilet & shower set up at the campsite?
There are hot showers and proper flush male and female toilets - these are shared facilities with the whole campsite.
What are the food options on Mt Buffalo?
When you book your tent, you also have the option of adding on one of our continental or cooked breakfast packs ($45 each - for two people), as well as gourmet takeaway lunch packs ($26 for one person).
Each tent is equipped with a gas camp cooker (with two stoves), pots/pans, cutlery and crockery, to make camp cooking as easy as possible. There are also two open fire pits which can be used as well.
There is a cafe called ‘Dingo Dell Cafe’ on the Mountain which serves standard cafe fare.
There is nowhere to buy food/groceries within the National Park. The closest town is Bright, which has an IGA, Woolworth’s and plenty of cafes and restaurants.
We also recommend Porepunkah Pantry for a selection of gourmet food items from the local area.
